  • How does Time Line Therapy® work in practice?

Time Line Therapy® uses guided visualisation and discussion to help people reflect on how past experiences influence their present emotions and responses. The process involves identifying emotional patterns and reframing how those experiences are perceived. It encourages self-awareness rather than reliving events. Many find the approach useful for recognising recurring feelings and improving perspective in day-to-day life.

  • Is Time Line Therapy® the same as hypnosis?

Although it shares some techniques with hypnotherapy, Time Line Therapy® is a separate process. It involves a relaxed, focused state where the practitioner guides the client through reflection rather than deep hypnosis. The client remains aware and in control throughout. It is considered a collaborative experience, designed to support awareness and understanding rather than suggestion or influence.

  • What kinds of concerns can Time Line Therapy® address?

This approach may be suitable for people who feel emotionally stuck, or notice repeating patterns linked to past experiences. It can assist with managing feelings such as anger, sadness or uncertainty by encouraging insight into how those emotions developed. It’s not a replacement for medical or psychological treatment but can be a helpful complement to other forms of therapy or self-development.
